The Nikon D3200’s full-autofocus shutter lag when shooting the same target multiple times had been on the lower side of average for a user SLR. When prefocused, shutter lag fell to 0.114 moments, which can be somewhat slower than ordinary nowadays, but still reasonably quick.

- Create a folder on the computer’s hard disk and name it as desired.
- Download F-D3200-V104W.exe and enter it into the folder created in the first step.
- Run F-D3200-V104W.exe to extract the following file to a folder called “D3200Update“:
• D3200_0104.bin (camera firmware)
- use the card slot or card reader to copy “D3200_0104.bin” to a memory card that has been formatted in the camera.
- Add a memory card into the slot on the camera and then turn on the cam.
- Select the Firmware version in the settings menu and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the firmware update.
- After the firmware update process is complete, turn off the camera and remove the memory card.
- Confirm that the firmware update process to the new version has been updated.
